I joined Chesterton Montessori School in 2010 as the lower elementary directress. Prior to Chesterton Montessori, I was a substitute teacher in the Highland and Hammond School Corporations and a lower elementary directress at Casa Esperanza Montessori School in North Carolina. I am a graduate of the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in North Carolina, the NW Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where I earned my master’s degree in acupuncture, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I majored in geography. One of my children currently attends Chesterton Montessori. The other graduated from Chesterton Montessori in May 2020. In the rare times I am not keeping busy with my (school or biological) children, you can find me gardening or sewing.
